Day-1
Cochin to Munnar
Arrive in Cochin Airport/Railway station . Meet our representative ( driver) and proceed to Munnar. Munnar is one of the well-known hill stations in India. Located in 1,600 m above sea level. It is also known as the Kashmir of Kerala. On the way you can cover Valara and Cheeyapparawaterfalls. Visit Blossom Park and Pothenmedu View Point. (Other optional activity Jeep Safari) Check in to the hotel. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Day-2
Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast take a sightseeing tour to Munnar. The major sightseeing places are Eravikulam National Park (Feb & March closed) “where you get to see the endangered NilgiriTahr”. Mattupetty Dam, Eco Point Tea Museum and Kundala Lake . Back to the hotel after an exciting day. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day-3
Munnar to Thekkady
This day after breakfast drive to Thekkady, reaching there in few hours. Check into the resort and relax. Later, proceed for a spice plantation tour. Explore wide variety of spices in Kerala. You may also shop few varieties. Travel by boat on the Periyar Lake (ticket included) to spot the elephants and avifauna for which this reserve is well known. (If you have interest to watch Kerala Marital Arts Kathakali and Kalaripayittu we will arrange in the evening direct payment basis) Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day-4
Thekkady to Alleppey
After breakfast, move to Alleppey. Is also known as ‘The Venice of the Earth”. It is the hub of Kerala’s backwaters and is home to a huge network of backwaters and more than thousand houseboats. The normal check-in time is 12.30pm and check-out is 09.00 am. This day you can enjoy the houseboat cruise (include : lunch, dinner and breakfast). Overnight stay in Houseboat.
Day-5
Alleppey to Varkala
After breakfast check out from houseboat move to Varkala. (On the way visit Jadayu Earth Center ) Afternoon reach Varkala and check in hotel. After that visit Varkala Cliff and Beach. Back to the hotel and overnight stay in Varkala
Day-6
Varkala to Trivandrum (Departure)
After breakfast check out from Hotel. Visit the famous Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple– a blend of Kerala and Dravidian style of architecture, the temple is noted for its mural paintings and stone carvings. One among the 108 sacred Vishnu temples in India, the presiding deity here is Lord Vishnu reclining on Anantha, the Serpent. Only Hindus are allowed inside the temple in prescribed dress code.The palace museum displays paintings and priceless collections of the royal family. .
After that Visit : Kuthira Malika Palace and Shopping (Depends on departure time). After that drop the Trivandrum Airport/ Railway Station with memories and a terrific holiday at Kerala.
